Lane - never forced a kid up in a lift that resulted in his death. Was actually the OC of a team that won the Div I National Championship.
Jimbo - has actually won a Div I National Championship as a HC.
So, Grindin Brian's accomplishments are....making it to Atlanta and losing (just like he has every "big game" he has ever coached)? Congrats on loss, I guess?

Young won the Heisman because he sliced and diced a generational defense and won the conference in a must win game for Bama.
And the fact that the game mattered for Bama was big. Will Daniels get there? Will it matter if he does?
The idea that it doesn't matter what your team does overall in Heisman comparisons is a nonsensical argument given the evidence.

That’s not now the heisman works. All that matters is it was up for grabs and Bryce Young played an amazing game over a Georgia defense that was being trumpeted as best in a generation.
Daniels is going to have to play lights out against Bama and probably one more time down the line to win it.
