Fewer injuries, fewer banged up players, less film for your opponents to see, less opponents that had a chance to expose you for future opponents, and they still had plenty of practice time as the reason for 3 of their missing games was due to games being cancel in the middle of the season so they just got an extra week of practice between 3 games.

Certainly didn't seem like such a terrible team when they were beating the shite out of Clemson the week prior.
