Put it this way, LSU needed a Heisman performance from Burrow to win it all, UGA did it with Stetson Bennett.

Interesting point that no one else had considered but again it was the 2019 LSU offense vs. 2021 UGA defense.

Define quick. Since 2019 game was 17-3 at half, 2021 is no less than 17-17 at half. Probable uga lead.

The 2019 game was never close. Get real. LSU killed the last 5 teams it played. It’s ok to be wrong sometimes like you are in this case

A better comp for Georgia is 2011 Bama. They beat everyone’s arse but lost a game to a really good team but recovered and then beat that team. Game would be close between 2019 LSU and 21 Georgia, at the end though I just don’t see Georgia guarding LSUs receivers forever.

Maybe, but in this thread, on this day, no one can compete with you for that crown.

We ran 92 plays against Tennessee because Tennessee kept giving us the ball back after 90 seconds

Tennessee's Drives
- 3 play drive, 1:31 (punt)
- 8 play drive, 1:50 (TD)
- 5 play drive, 2:18 (TD)
- 3 play drive, 1:13 (punt)
- 3 play drive, 1:35 (punt)
- 3 play drive, 0:54 (punt)
- 3 play drive, 1:35 (punt)
- 3 play drive, 0:43 (FG)
- 5 play drive, 2:24 (punt)
- 2 play drive, 0:21 (TD)
- 7 play drive, 1:40 (INT)
- 4 play drive, 0:58 (TOD)
- 5 play drive, 2:26 (punt)

Their average drive lasted 1 minute and 29 seconds for the entire game!

They had 19 minutes of total possession and ran 93 plays - 1 play every 12.6 seconds.

We had 41 minutes of total possession and ran 92 plays - 1 play every 26.4 seconds. By comparison, Georgia ran 70 plays in 33 minutes of possession vs Tennessee - 1 play every 28.0 seconds.

Damn. I'm speechless.

I probably won't have time tomorrow but I may check the time of possession for the season and plays per second. Tennessee's hurry up offense against Bama may have been a poor example on my part. You got me here. We shall see.

Considering the fact that no one claims the game was close, wtf are you talking about? You can’t even define quick.
