Losing to Baylor when they basically didn't have a quarterback kind of soured me on Fedora

I really like Brohm. I think this would work really well if it happened... which means no way in heck would our AD pull this off

That was hilarious to watch. If he gets beat bad by UGA, the shine will most definitely have worn off on him. He should want nothing to do w/ the SEC after he lost to Carolina last year.

If WKU has another good season with their offense exploding, Brohm will be one of the hottest names out there for several Power 5 job openings. There will be bidding wars for him and Tom Herman.

He'd fit our personnel very well. Still not sold on him yet as HC though.

if Gus doesn't survive this year then knowing JJ our new Hc will probably be Derek Mason or John L. Smith sad. but true

Sumlin at Purdue would be amazing

That might kill Urban Meyer for good

I would be curious to see what Mason could do at a school without the recruiting disadvantages that Vandy has. I know he was a DC at Stanford and their defenses were great while he was there. Whoever gets Mason will get an elite defense. Curious to see if he could put the offense together with better recruiting opportunities.

This thread just made me realize John L. Smith has a coaching gig, while Houston Dale Nutt does not

upstate, you seriously need to hire Harry Rex Vonner as your AD. My references are DuncanIdaho and Pettifogger. See what you can do with getting me an interview.

None of the guys mentioned thus far as possible Malzahn replacements have AU Fambly ties.

My guess is that JJ promotes his old teammate Rodney Garner to HC. That'd make Dye happy, and after all, isn't that more important than silly things like qualifications or ability?
