Listening to the Bama radio call right now is a lot like listening to the old KC Royals. Denny Matthews used to have dead air a lot.

This broadcast is awful, the guy they had in first 3 innings from Bama was good though

Toughest road series outside of conference was to LA where they went 1-1-1 I believe.

SEC trips I do not count because there is familiarity with the parks and crowds.

This is moot as MSU is a national seed, but my original point was I do not know how well MSU or aTm would travel to different parks based off their style of game, especially MSU because they do so many things to try and change pace of games.

I seriously cannot believe you called me dumb earlier.

Was of Chris Stewart? Sounds like he's a lot younger? He's usually the one that calls the games. Also calls Bama basketball

I do not know who it is. They switched PBP guys and this guy is not as good as the first guy they had today.

The first guy just had more energy than this guy. They do not have a Color Commentator with this guy, which makes it worse, as there is no break from him.

I seriously can not believe that you do not know about familiarity in baseball.

Different ground rules, new places to eat, new crowds, different umpires, etc.

I know Florida has a better non conference body of work...but a the moment LSU has an overall 21-11 conference record.. Florida 19-11.. Overall wins very close and LSU is 3-1 head to head in one on one games...all very recent. Historically and in terms of putting people in thr stands LSU wins going away.

I don't understand why people perceive Florida being in a completely different stratosphere in terms of national seeding, and I'm not saying this to put Florida down

So you're saying UF's park is much more "familiar" to MSU than SAY, Miami's or FSU's?

Yes because they play there every two years and the coaches and players know about the kinks in it.

Have you ever traveled on a college road trip?

While all that being said is true, I just don't think y'all have a legitemate shot unless y'all win the whole thing.
I think LSU locks up a seed if they win the tourney. I think it comes into play if we beat y'all (State), or if we make the final. Don't think it's a definite unless we win.

I wonder who they will pair up with the SEC teams? It would really suck bigtime to match us up vs each other, just for the teams' sake. I could definitely see 6-7 teams make it to Omaha if they spread us out.

But I think they might anticipate that, and screw us accordingly (for the rest of the nation's sake).

I played baseball at the collegiate level. Does that count?

So you know exactly what I am talking about. You know when you walk in to Eck-Tyler at Wichita that there is a familiar feel to the park, since you have been there before. But when you go to Disch-Falk it is completely new and strange.

You know in Lubbock the Crickets field does not play like anything you played in before. The crowds are different also.

But I am sure you know all that.

Because they have the #2 RPI, have a series win over Miami, have 3 mid week wins over FSU, and a strong conference record too (swept A&M) even if its not the top in conference.

For some reason I highly doubt that.

Sure, the dimensions and kinks of a field matter, but your talking about it like it has a monumental importance on a game. Good teams with great players show up and make plays, no matter what different "feels" o le kinks a stadium has.

True but LSU's RPI has to be up there, it's not like it's in the 50's... And there are 4 recent direct games... Again not putting Florida down just saying LSU's case is also very strong.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but it's a very weak argument. By the way, 4 out of 9 of our starters had never played an inning of SEC baseball before this season. They just happen to be our biggest contributors as well.
