i think he realized he was going to be out by 5 feet so he was thinking about going back to 2nd. he probably didnt realize barash had dropped the ball once he made his hesitation.

Corbin tried to argue the ball that hit the line as a homer in College Station. He was mad and arguing it went over and hit a wall outside the stadium...there is no wall behind the wall in College Station
