Are you qualified to talk about any of those things right now aside from location? No? So why do you keep bringing them up?

Which means that we also have 32 wins. Which means that using 247 as a barometer of physical talent to predict who's going to win a game is, in fact, reliable. What was your point there?

But that type of analysis assumes the 50 teams with less talent all have equal talent. They do not. McNeese State does not have the same level of talent that Arkansas or Ole Miss have.

If you broke it down further you would see that LSU 20-8 in games against SEC competition in which the other team is less physically talented.

That pretty much shows me that when LSU has more talent than an opponent with a closer level of talent that the game is closer to a toss up, and when the other team is a top half of the league game it is much closer to a toss up.

You might call it a coin flip.

But how do you judge who has great physical talent?
Shuttle, height, weight, 40 time, bench, squat, flexibility, jesus fricking christ are you really this stupid? Are you really asking how to judge who's physically talented like it's some random thing that people pull out of the sky? If a cornerback is 6'3 205 runs a 4.4 40 and can jump 40 inches, they're more talented than a cornerback who is 5'5, 140, runs a 5.7, and can jump 20 inches. Are you fricking kidding right now?

So now we are going to judge teams and players totally based on their gym stats?

You should alert the NFL guys that film is no longer a necessary tool for football evaluation. The entire draft will now be based on the combine.

And past performances, as in ACTUAL GAME RESULTS are not real, but a bunch of numbers on a website are? Does this even make sense in your head?

So aside from the things that I've already written off, basically nothing is a good indicator of who's going to win an SEC game in the future where coaching, talent, venue, etc. is all basically equal for all practical purposes? And this entire conversation is pointless because it's dumb to assume that either team is going to win over a year in advance? Gotcha

When it comes to LSU? Appears so. Guess we oughta flip that coin.

The same thing does not apply to Alabama or Vanderilt, though. Going to have to get a few more coins out for them.

We're literally saying the exact opposite of that.

Actually past performances have nothing to do with how big, fast, strong, coordinated, etc. you are. Impressive past performances might be a byproduct of that, by they in no affect who's physically talented and who isn't. What you just said has no place in the conversation I was having

Based on no criteria whatsoever. You just pulled that out of your arse. He could have had a much better second half if it wasn't for the injury. I've had the exact same injury, it ain't fun.

Oh, so sort of like your LSU brethren saying LSU will beat Arkansas and make up the 3 score arse whippings each year?

Ahh...

LOL dude

I think you'll go 9-3. Losses to Wisconsin, Bama and Arkansas

If you don't follow LSU football,(which clearly you don't), you have no clue what we have coming back, and coming in for this season. Ranters better watch themselves because they will be butt hurt come next december.(Excluding Alabama)

Wtf are you talking about? You literally said word for word on the last page that past performances are not real, while talent is real. I wasn't even saying that past performance had anything to do with talent, like you're trying to imply with this asinine post. You're just straight up dumb and have terrible reading comprehension.

Are we talking about Alabama vs McNeese state or are we talking about LSU vs Arkansas in 2016? Two completely different situations bud

Really? Because the gambler's fallacy applies to a situation in which both sides have an equal chance of winning. Why would the teams matter? Or are you saying that the gambler's fallacy does not apply to this situation?

Tap out on this one.

My father always said he was going to stop the car and let me argue with a stump.

Time to pull the car over...
