Foley should not be able to make the next hire, it should be Machen.

So far in UF head coaching hires the rankings look like this

Machen 1-0

Foley 0-2

Let's look at where Sumlin has coached as a coordinator:

A&M 2002 (Offensive Coordinator) - relies on Texas recruits and relationships with Texas HS coaches

Oklahoma 2003-2007 (Offensive Coordinator) - relies on Texas recruits and relationships with Texas HS coaches

Houston 2008-2011 (Head Coach) - relies on Texas recruits and relationships with Texas HS coaches

Texas A&M 2012-present (Head Coach) - relies on Texas recruits and relationships with Texas HS coaches

What part of that screams "Florida" to you?
