Even if Bama were to lose to LSU, they will still likely win the West (I can see LSU losing 2 other games even if they beat Bama) and will win the national title again.

I agree.

by far the easiest schedule in the SEC. Where's that picture of Saban winking?

Gotta admit, haven't seen a schedule like this in quite a while. Colorado St. before we play Ole Miss. All four teams we play in October have new coaches. And Chattanooga before AU.

Aug. 31 Virginia Tech (Atlanta)
Sept. 7 Bye Week
Sept. 14 at Texas A&M

Sept. 21 Colorado State
Sept. 28 Ole Miss
Oct. 5 Georgia State
Oct. 12 at Kentucky
Oct. 19 Arkansas
Oct. 26 Tennessee

Nov. 2 Bye Week
Nov. 9 LSU

Nov. 16 at Mississippi State
Nov. 23 Chattanooga
Nov. 30 at Auburn

All that you can do is laugh. You might only play 2 ranked teams all year before the SEC championship game.

Serious question, though: Any chance that a one-loss Bama team gets jumped by a one-loss team from another conference in the BCS with that schedule?

If I were Bama fans, I would hope that Georgia, Florida, or South Carolina goes undefeated or loses just one game. Might need that for the BCS at the end.

The good news for LSU, though, is that Bama will not have been tested by a physical team before the Tigers come to town. That worked in LSU's favor in 2011. When LSU punches Bama in the mouth, it will be the first time that they would have experienced that all season.

With that soft Bama schedule, I am actually liking LSU's chances more and more.

Bama beats everyone else by at least 4 TDs - including A&M. That will be the revenge game for Bama.

Can't wait for football season.

Meanwhile, LSU runs the gauntlet and will be battle tested, seasoned, and ready for war. And, revenge.

Easily. That will certainly be one of the easiest schedules in the country of ranked BCS school next year. A one-loss bama would get jumped by most any other one-loss BCS school I would expect.

Highly doubt bama loses next year though. LSU won't be as good as last year and it looks like a one game season to me next year for Bama with no trap games.

VT, OM, UK, UT, Ark & AU should all be better next year, so it could wind up being a tough schedule.

I agree with all this, but I am starting to think that LSU might be better than this past year. I'm still predicting 10-2 and 6-2 in the SEC because of how tough the schedule is, but with 14 starters returning, 9 on offense, a 5th year Senior QB, experienced and talented offensive line, great RBs, and a young but talented defense coached by Chavis, LSU will be a handful. Even on down years, LSU plays Alabama like their lives depended upon it - at least in the regular season.

That's going to be incredibly embarrassing if you don't win the title next year.

Yeah, saying only 3 out of 5 national titles will be embarrassing.

With that schedule, yes.

The only reason your cross-division opponents had a single win btw the two of them last year is because they had to play each other. Your toughest two games are 8 weeks apart.

Just get ready for the 3 peat is all i can say.

But, even if we slip up and lose to someone we shouldn't (because we will be favored in every single game) still will have 3 of the last 5 under the belt.

And then just win in all in 2014 anyways.

I'm just sayin.............don't come back here crying if you lose a game, win the SEC, and still get left out of the title game.

Don't screw this up for the conference, you've got a trail pre-blazed to Atlanta.

Should not be on the schedule of a program of Alabama's stature. I could understand loading up the schedule with tomato cans if Shula was still coach and we needed every win just to get to a shite tier bowl, but those days are over and so should be the cowardly scheduling.
