Take a guess, keeping in mind where the current AP top 10 started:

1. Oregon (Preseason #5)
2. Kansas State (Preseason #22)
3. Notre Dame (Unranked)
4. Alabama (Preseason #2)
5. Georgia (Preseason #6)
6. Ohio State (Preseason #18)
7. Florida (Preseason #23)
8. LSU (Preseason #3)
9. Texas A&M (Unranked)
10. Florida State (Preseason #7)

You know we're still in football season huh? There's about 8 months of downtime to make threads like this.

Can we at least wait and see which underclassmen are going pro? Or maybe after baseball season.

When your team has never been in the Top 10 in your lifetime, its hard to contain yourself.

4. Oregon
5. Ohio State
6. Michigan
7. USCw
8. Florida State

I agree. Imagine if A&M wins the Fiesta Bowl...

Ohio St will prob finish undefeated this year. They will be ranked #1 most likely.

Wrong. The longhorns are WAY too low. It is a time-honored tradition for the longhorns to be ranked at least in the top 5 before they fall out of the rankings for good.

1. Alabama - Probably right
2. Notre Dame - Too high, losing too much seniors
3. Texas - Probably right
4. Oregon - Sounds about right
5. Ohio State - Sounds about right
6. Michigan - Too high, too much to replace
7. USCw - Probably, media overranks them every year
8. Florida State - Too high
9. Kansas State - Won't even be ranked. Their team this year is all seniors
10. Oklahoma - Depends on who is QB

Love the optimism, but we aren't gonan sniff the top 5 preseason. Our offense should be lethal as we return essentially everyone, but likewise we lose almost everyone on defense. We could lose 10 people who have started this year or have been major starters in the last 2 years. Not to mention our schedule is brutal.

Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Ohio St, and Oklahoma are guarenteed to be up there. Four based on merit, Oklahoma based on the tradition of being preseason top 5 only to fall on their face time and time again.

Bama and LSU will both be preseason top 5. And if they aren't they sure as shite should be.

Both are bringing back nearly their entire offense. LSU basically is bringing them all back and our defense should be fine as wine as always. Can't speak to BAmas D.
