Defense was mixed up with 3rd stringers and even worse playing with 1st ones. The defenses were not allowed to blitz either.

First, Bama isnt the clear favorite. Is that why Sporting News, CBS, and College Football News ranked LSU preseason #1. Its a 3 horse race and will be competitive. I was simply posing a question about tyler wilson but rantards decided to respond with their double digit iq. Also, Bamas 3rd ranked sec pass offense in 2011 under McElroy think you don't have a clue about their style of play. Any running team needs solid QB play to run action, set up plays, etc. With QB, LT is a concern where Barrett Jones was moved recently. They also lost Julio as the decoy and best wr blocker for the run game. To simply say they are a running team and will be fine is unintelligent. The HS all Americans are unproven and have looked shaky. Just like lsu, The defense is the strength but both Lsu and Bama need solid QB play to win the west. If you don't think so, you don't know football.

Why is this topic not a legitimate topic? Bama and LSU will have sick defenses, but both teams have big questions at QB. You can't win games in the SEC 3-0 every time out. In coonass, Lsu and Bama need solid QB play to win the West. The alternative is multiple losses, no matter the ability of the defense.

It all depends on how well AR's D is. If they play better than last year, I could see the LSU/AR game deciding the West. I've LSU winning the West, but I think AR will have a say in the West depending on the play of their defense.

Alabama averaged 225 YPG through the air and 185 YPG on the ground in 2010.

U said the first team gave up no points and then I took back what I said about their defense, then I changed gears and attacked that PP (pig poster) that was saying they wouldn't be a disappointment because they are picked third.
