I mean our offense wasn’t that bad that year. We scored no less than 35 points in 11 of our games. The other three games was 19 against State, 9 against Bama, and then 0 against Bama. State had a good defense that year and of course Bama had a great defense that year but other than those 3 games, the offense was rolling. That’s including 42 vs Georgia, 40 vs Oregon, 47 vs West Virginia, 41 vs Florida, 45 vs Auburn, and 41 vs Arkansas.
I know everyone loves to pick on our offense because of that game on 1/9/12 but our offense was actually pretty good that year.

The only two teams that had a shot at giving Miami a real game that year imo

I mean outside of Mississippi State and Alabama, that offense was pretty dominant as well.
The 2011 LSU offense averaged around 355 yards per game and finished right in the middle of the conference in total offense. Their scoring offense was excellent, but the majority of those points can be attributable to excellent field position provided by the defense and special teams.

Mathews as a third round proved a fluke. Off the field issues kept him off the 1st round. Was a top 3 pick in my eyes.

They scored 0 points when it mattered. Hardly a “best team”

What did I post that you didn't like?
That 2016 team had more total draft picks, more first round draft picks, more Rounds 1-3 draft picks, beat 8 ranked teams prior to the post season, had more games won by 3+ scores, more shut outs, held more teams without a touchdown, averaged 39.4 points per game to 2011 LSU's 37.6, and averaged 464 YPG to 2011 LSU's 372 (70th in the country).
What else were you looking for?

11 LSU had the better resume, look it up. Offense is not a Team . LSU’s Denfense and Special teams were superior to everyone . D was equal to Bama but Special teams the difference. But I agree LSU could have field any of their previous offenses and would have own the history books .that offense was one of the weakest.

That's why I've included defensive numbers in all of my posts.

That would seem to disqualify 2011 LSU from the discussion, wouldn't it?

That is correct. As it turns out, I'll decide when I have the time and desire and how to use said time and desire. And as it turns out, you don't have to like it. And as it also turns out, there's nothing you can do about it. Following me around and crying like a little girl isn't going to change that.
