Of course there is the reality. 2010 AU and 2019 LSU aren't even remotely comparable. LSU is still on the rise with outstanding recruiting. We were good before this while Auburn was not, being only two years removed from a 5-8 season.

Of course we don't have the luxury of playing versus the equivalent of a G5 schedule each year. The AAC had twice the number of teams in the final AP poll than the mighty ACC.

We call that place "ACC Champs". We don't have numerical rankings in the west. It goes like this:

1) SEC champ
2) BTCE - Big Ten Champ Equivalent
3) ACE - ACC Champ Equivalent

...and so on and so forth.
