If you want to see the countryside in France, the Loire Valley is not far from Paris - ~3 hr. drive. The Loire Valley has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. LINK

Milos is a must. It was my favorite island and by far the least spoiled by tourism. Lots of unique beaches and easy to get around. Sarakiniko beach in Milos was incredible. Hotels and restaurants were very reasonable and the people were very friendly as compared to the tourist mecca that Mykonos is.

This is the way to go, Oia is very isolated but worth the trip to see the sunset. Our priority was to visit different beaches, Oia was just a one evening event for us.
Look into the train access to the areas that you plan to visit. You will be surprised at how little you need a car.

Please define over ranked. If you are trying to imply that LSU is ranked too high, time will tell. That is why the games are played and opinions are worthless.
Inverness is great for a day or two. If you like skiing, Cairngorm has a nice ski resort. I visited in March several years back, was still really cold that far north. January will be exceptionally chilly.

Useless political move, this administration is only interested in what will help bolster the polling numbers for the Dims.
Serious consideration should be given to renaming themselves to Texas “They and Them”
Because Texas “They & Them” fits the profile that the liberal media loves.
