I will be surprised if LSU is able to avoid the sweep.

hoping for a good series. was happy to see this team show some guts and come back to avoid the sweep last sunday

Jesus christ all the LSU fans are in panic mode. Do y'all realize how many runners we left on base last weekend? Thats just baseball. We lose 2 out of 3 to a decent team, and all of a sudden we are horrible in everyone's minds.
Our starting pitchers are good enough to keep us in most games. If they can go 7 innings and hand it over to Gilbert, we will be fine. We will run into a problem though if they can't go at least 5 cause our relief pitching sucks. I think we lose 2/3, but we aren't going to get destroyed in 3 straight games like our fans think. Would be extatic if we could win the series, but its not likely. I think we win lose Friday for sure, but tonight and Saturday are toss ups with the edge to A&M

But he is right. We left 13 on the pads in game one and got ZERO runs.
We out hit Bama in game 2 and lost.
ALso, if CPM keeps his leash short on Lange and Poche, AND the bullpen doesnt shite in its pants. we can win two of these games. LSU has the talent. It just needs to come together and we can be scary good.
If LANGE and POCHE get to last seasons form...... Big things!!!!

I cant wrap my mind around it either. it has to be a Cajun thing, since it is prevalent in all sports. ive even heard that some of the LSU fans wanted to fire a football coach that wins at a 80% clip, while all but a handful of conference teams would trade coaches with them in a heartbeat. Ole Miss and Alabama being the notable exceptions.

It most certainly is a Cajun thing to always be complaining. The older we get the worse it gets.

It's a sky is falling mentality. It's has a lot to do with how we wear our emotions on our sleeves. We cheer loud and complain even louder. At least some of you only have to deal with it on this board try living with it every day all day. Love my state and the school I root for but the mentality does get old after awhile.
Oh and Tigers get at least 1. In a road SEC series that is all you can ask for the other two could just be a bonus.
