That’s the difference in the slate of games. Texas knew they wouldn’t play another team with a pulse until Oklahoma
TOTALLY! Everybody knows that Texas has the weakest schedule in all of college football!!! Oh wait...

#3.....TEXAS

ELO SOS: 1580.4
OR: 25-5
OWP: 0.8333

#12.....ALABAMA

ELO SOS: 1549.6
OR: 21-10
OWP: 0.6774
Guess Alabama should've spent all offseason preparing for Texas given how much weaker their schedule was

Alabama proceeded to play Ole Miss, Moo state (they suck this year I know) and A&M

Texas spent the offseason preparing to play Alabama.

Bama has beaten:
Ole Miss 8 in a row and 18-2 in the last 20. The 2 games Miss won was them cheating at Bama levels.

Miss St. 16 in a row and 18-2 in the last 20.

Arky 15 in a row and 17-3 in the last 20.

Weird that Bama had to spend the offseason preparing to play the same shitty teams they play every single year.

So they played one ranked team in their next three opponents? Just like Texas did? And won each of them, just like Texas did. Oh wait, Texas won those games by more points

Yeah it was a really good win for Texas and yes, it's obvious they've improved on both LOS; however, the 2023 version of Alabama is no where close to teams of the past.
Bama has struggled on the offensive LOS against almost every opponent thus far this season.
I would say both teams are entering the SEC at the right time because only Georgia is operating at an elite level at the present.

I see we're still pretending that the history of what happened when lil ol' aggot and mizzou joined the league didn't really happen. None of your doomsday forecasts for them ever materialized. Not one.

Umm....Mizzou struggled mightily the first season despite having the talent to win the division. It can't be understated how hard it is to prepare for 8 new teams vs 1.

And then what happened in year 2 and 3?

Aggot had to prepare for 8 new teams as well their first season. What happened there?

So, how is it that A&M has won more conference games in the SEC than they did in the Big 12?

How did MU's conference winning percentage only drop from 49% to 46%?

How did A&M waltz in and go 6-2 in year 1 and Missouri go 7-1 in year 2?

Last two years in Big 12/first two years in SEC:
A&M: 10-7/10-6
MU: 11-6/9-7

Uhhhhh, muh ESSCEECEE grind, bawwww

Lets look at your marque team Georgia and their schedule:

Sept. 2 vs. UT Martin
Sept. 9 vs. Ball State
Sept. 16 vs. South Carolina
Sept. 23 vs. UAB
Sept. 30 at Auburn
Oct. 7 vs. Kentucky
Oct. 14 at Vanderbilt
Oct. 21 Idle
Oct. 28 vs. Florida
Nov. 4 vs. Missouri
Nov. 11 vs. Ole Miss
Nov. 18 at Tennessee
Nov. 25 at Georgia Tech

Where is it so hard?

Sept. 30 at Auburn
Oct. 7 vs. Kentucky HOME
Oct. 14 at Vanderbilt

Oct. 28 vs. Florida HOME
Nov. 4 vs. Missouri HOME
Nov. 11 vs. Ole Miss HOME
Nov. 18 at Tennessee

The SEC will be easy for you and Texas. Yall going to run the conference! We don't know football over here.

If Olkahoma (51-63-5 against Texas) is the big brother to Texas, what does that make a&m (37-76-5 against Texas)

This is the typical response by people of your ilk and it's an all-time classic.

1. Spout some irrational, ignorant assertions.
2. Get confronted by individual with rational facts disputing assertions.
3. Take the emotional child like position swinging to the complete opposite end of the spectrum from your initial assertion and assigning claims to the individual that were never made.

Never change presumed adult with emotional child hysterics.

OU hasn’t had a defense since Bosworth was there in the mid 80’s.

Funny a LSU fan is judging someone on defense after giving up 700 yards lol

and this is a lie OU had some of the best defenses in early 2000s … in 2001 that was our best defense . We held Arkansas to 69 total yards in cotton bowl … 2003 defense was good too . 2009 …. People just remember the bad ones and yes they were bad but OU is known as a defensive school for their entire history …. 2010 on all offense….

Everyone of those games is a win right now … we have already beat 4 of those teams in the LIncoln Riley era alone zero losses.

I could see Tenn being a semi tough game sometimes but you’re never going to convince me those others teams are going to consistently be problems for OU . Will they win from time to time sure . Just like KSU good teams not great. Every once in a while one of those teams will catch a OU team graduating a key player or players . Why it makes football fun.

We already know depth is going to be a problem but we are out recruiting everyone on the list and they also have to face OU and Texas which will cause them to have injuries as well.
I personally think we could start seeing a lot more long term injuries for sec players with the harder sos games . I have no problem paying players if they are putting their bodies on the line each game . Not fair for them to get the shite beat out of them and not get nil dollars .

There is a time to just give it a rest and let a dumbass think what he wants. And by dumbass i mean you and any other Big 12 fan that thinks your schedule won't be tougher playing middle of the pack sec teams over TT, Baylor, TCU, Iowa St. Kansas & K State every year...but go on thinking you know shite coming from a conference that has won 3 national titles this century compared to 13 by the SEC...and we just poached the 3 NC inners from the Big 12

Current, and that should say Sagarin.

I looked at Nolan and Texas gets a boost from teams with good records that are lower than 100th in SOS.

Their SOS is entirely Bama and OU when other sites measure it.
