2-loss Bama beats undefeated UGA in SECCG. Only one SEC team gets in CFP. Who would it be?

Let me ask you, If a train left Chicago at a rate of speed twice the rate of another train leaving St Louis........Would Bama still get every call?

Based on their previous decisions it would clearly be GA that gets in if it was down to those 2 and Bama would be left out to all other major 1 loss teams also.

Just wait for the melts when we go to a 12-team playoff, from this exact scenario.

If they take AQs and all those other teams, it's going to be shitshow when an outlier wins the conference and pushes another deserving team out.

It would have to be Bama. You can’t let a team in that didn’t even win its own conference.

Not nearly enough information to be honest.

How did Georgia perform otherwise?

How did Alabama get it's 2 losses? Who did they lose to? What were the circumstances. Was it early in the year, or later?

What happened in the SECCG? Was it a blowout by Alabama? Did Alabama win at the last second? Did Georgia play sloppy and poorly?

There is just so much more that goes into these things than a simple 2 line scenario. But based only on the 2 factors you have given, Georgia seems to be more likely.

Does not matter

State wins the West
Tennessee wins the East

Meet in ATL

CFP
State played Ohio State
Tennessee plays Michigan

State wins the CFP

I know this sounds crazy but what if...

Kentucky goes undefeated in the east giving Georgia it's only L for the season.
Arkansas goes undefeated in the west giving Alabama it's only L for the season.

No other team in the FBS go undefeated. The usual suspects have a 1 loss record. Who goes to the playoffs?

Trick question because Alabama won’t lose 2 regular season games
