1995 UF - UT Game On SECN Tonight @ 10pm

Ahhh...fond memories of the Wuerfel years and early season matchups with UT for SEC superiority.
Word to UT fans...just watch the first half of the game, there was torrential rain storm and then a real storm was on the field. Wuerfel shared QB duties with QB Terry Dean who took college football by storm in 1994...throwing six TDs in one game...but he faltered against AU and that was that.
Dean actually had been replaced by r/s frosh Wuerfel in 1994 when he was throwing picks and Wuerfel came in the UK game and with less than a minute threw a beautiful strike for winning TD to Chris Doering (yes the SECN analyst) but Wuerfel also threw picks and Dean reentered later but the AU game was final straw.
By the way the teams clipboard holder at QB was Brian Schottenheimer, who came to UF to learn coaching offense under Spurrier. Of course he is now UGAs OC.
