“At this point I don't care what they do or don't do anymore.”

I agree

You could ask the same thing to people who watch fb all day on the weekends:
do you love the game that much you don't care who's playing or do you really have a favorite in every game???

I hear many fans on here trash the P12, but I'm pretty sure that's who they're watching Sat. nights!

Just say no. Four is too many, games for the most part have not been competitive.

1. I don’t know how many teams should be in the playoff but every division of football from high school to the NFL plays more games than the major college football teams. “Too many games” is not an argument.

2. Sports are not sports when voting on teams is part of the equation. Every team that plays major division football should have a shot to win the title.

Solution?
1. Playoff is done in home stadiums across the country.
You think Utah is good this year? Let them win the first round in Tuscaloosa, second round in Athens, and then play someone else in a final neutral site.

If they do that…give them the trophy.

Easy to say for a team who has never had to play 15 games in a season, much less the 16 or 17 that a bigger playoff might entail.

Want more teams to get participation trophies, then expand. Want the top for teams to play to a championship, then we've got the right system. Either way, Bama will take care of it's business.

They do have a shot. There is not a school in FBS that doesn't have a shot to win the title every year.

What you want is basically college football welfare. Where teams are given things they didn't earn and don't deserve.

16 was never on the table

Too bad, because it would serve FBS well to follow the FCS model, but Can’t have any of the southern programs go up to the upper and lower Midwest and get exposed in December. Nope.

This has to be a troll job, because no one can be this delusional. Only 5 or 6 programs have and will forever have a legitimate shot to win it all each year.

Apparently, you don't know the difference between having a shot and making the shot.

All teams have a shot, only 1 team will make the shot.

You really don't know what the phrase "having a shot" means.

Just because you miss your shot doesn't mean you didn't have a shot.

Odds are determined by the team. You give my wife a half court shot to win a car, and she's not going to win. But she still had a shot.

Cut the regular season down to 10 games and create the 16 team playoff. First round of games hosted by higher seed. Use the 7 largest bowls for the final seven games….Sugar, Rose, Fiesta, Peach, Orange, Cotton and Citrus.

Keep 10 of the next prestigious bowls for 20 deserving teams. Play those games between Christmas and New Years in between the play off games.

Boom. You have a perfect system in place.

While I understand that, some teams shouldn't be punished by their conference schedule...something they have no control over.

Play in a power5 conference and win all your games and your in. Every power5 team has control over that.

I think it should be 6.

Top 2 get byes. The regular season will be important since you want 1 of those 2 top spots.
