Won't lie, it sucks knowing how good this team was and seeing that the path to a finals was there given UCLA's level of play. But, that is this tournament. It is a streaky sport. Along with talent, it takes a lot of luck to make the final 4.
Maybe one day...
But, there may be 1 Bama sports fan out of 10 (random made up stat of the day) who truly even care about shooty hoops.
Hopefully that changes with Oats. I was a kid in the 80s and Wimp's teams were awesome. There was always excitement around Bama basketball then.

Interesting thread.... I wonder how many fans are hoping to see their team win a natty before they pass away. Hard to imagine that some fans have. Ever seen their team win a National Championship.

I’d take losing to Alabama in TS for the rest of eternity if it meant a NC appearance on average every 5 years and a National Championship at minimum every 10.
