I wouldn't put the 03 LSU SECCG #2. I saw that blow out coming.
2005 AU and 2008 GT deserves more than honorable mention IMO

I guess I just weighed significance of the loss more heavily early in the list. Cost us back to back SECCs...but you're right, it was a damn strong football team saban had at LSU that year. SECCG blowout wasn't a huge surprise...just ugly and it hurt.

You got even the next year and in 05

As an LSU fan did you see that game playing out that way?
I know I expected that game to be a lot closer

If I were a UGA fan I would have put the 2009 loss to LSU in the list and not the 2003 SECCG.

An upset 19–14 loss to Tennessee in early October, however, ended Georgia's hopes of a national title and put the Bulldogs behind the Volunteers in the SEC East. While they would go on to post a 10–2 record, which included the school's first win over Florida since 1997, many Bulldog fans considered the year a disappointment, as the team failed to reach the SEC title game for the first time in three years

Tennessee was better than UGA in 04 imo. Tennessee was the second best team in the league besides AU.

Well, No. But we hadn't had a bye week all season. AU and bama made a big deal about their schedules and playing 8 or 11 games without a bye week. we played all 12 in 05 thanks to that bitch, Mother Nature. That's not an excuse though, but I think we should have played much better than we did. I do think that UGA would have wanted no part of the LSU team that showed up for the peach bowl against Miami. especially after watching WVU dismantle you.

I would agree
We almost made a comeback in that WVU game.

In 2008, I really thought Richt had it rolling after UGA kicked the ever loving crap out of LSU in Baton Rouge, but somewhere down the line the defense forgot how to stop anyone.

I find it amazing that Fla. has won 18 out of the last 21 games, and Ga still leads in the series 46-40.

I have to go with '05 Auburn. That game was fun as hell and we thought we had it won. Turned a great season into a good season.
