It's not going to happen

It'll be interesting to watch the RRR and how Texas schemes to stop Hurts.
If we gave up 471 passing yards to LSU I'm not very confident in our ability to stop Riley's offense and Jalen Hurts. It's going to take a lot of adjustments and a much better gameplan from Orlando.
eta - My guess is Texas goes 10-3 with two losses to OU and is Sugar Bowl bound.

Same could be said if Georgia beats ND but loses the SEC championship to Bama/LSU and if its a decision between ND at 11-1 and Georgia at 12-1. I think the biggest thing that would hurt Georgia a little more would be that it is a fresh loss.
Would depend on how bad UGA beat ND and how bad UGA lost the SECC. Blow out ND and close SECC, UGA in. Close ND win and blow out SECC loss, ND in.

That would be one hell of a situation for the committee because you would have to assume Georgia would get in being the SEC East champion. You would also have a quality win against ND to match LSU's win over TX. Like I said earlier, the only thing that would work in LSU's favor is that your loss would be fresh in everyone's mind while LSU's would be a couple weeks old with some more wins to cushion it. I still don't think its enough.
Again, would have to see how each team lost to bama. After bama, auburn, a&m, and UF would be common opponents. There’d be a decent amount of data to compare and hopefully they’d utilize it. It’s also way too early to worry about it. If fromm or burrow goes down then I don’t see either team recovering.

I'm not a fan of 2 teams from the same conference making it. Conference championship should mean something. The only way I can see it is if the two teams didn't play at all in the regular season, but that seems difficult considering we have a SECCG which will pit them against each other anyway.
2017 is a good example of an exception. Bama and UGA didn't play in the regular season or in the SECCG. So I had no problem with Bama making it in with UGA. Though if AU would have beaten UGA in the SECCG I would have a problem with Bama getting an AU rematch since AU beat them heads up in the Iron Bowl.
But that kind of thing is rare.
