Seems like we have lost our confidence at the plate altogether and are pressing.
This Tech team is not that good and should have been a comfortable win for us. But when you are playing bad it doesn’t really matter. We were lucky to get out of our regional and even luckier to win the super.

Starting JJ backfired on Sully. Too rusty.
I understand it because we need him to round back into shape to have any kind of chance of winning the whole thing, but he was really bad defensively tonight.

Not sure what this even means? Tech has a good program going. They are no longer a surprise to get to Omaha. Tadlock and the Red Raiders are slept on a bit, of anything. I think that will happen when you are in a state with Texas, Texas A&M, and TCU flourishing on the diamond.
The Big 12 is tough, and Tech didn’t shy away from decent non conference comp. No reason to think they aren’t very good.

Other than the fact that we played like shite and still made it a close game. I think most other teams in Omaha would have put that game out of reach.
Florida was the best team in the country in 2018 and has a great program but we are honestly the worst team in Omaha based on the way we are playing. Tech is probably one notch above us, and Texas one above them. What was supposed to be the stacked side of the bracket is Arkansas and some spares, imo.
