Can't even compete with Utah.

It's difficult to be afraid of a team that hasn't won a title since Jimmy Carter was in office.

Will be interesting to see how Ohio State does with a Power 5 Cincy program to compete with in state. Lots of the best recruits in Ohio come out of the Cincinnati area. Not sure Ohio State will be able to take their pick like they're used to going forward.

Notre Dame traditionally depends heavily on Cincinnati area recruiting too. Will be interested to see how a Big 12 Cincy program impacts them as well.

Utah has 4 players from the southeast, 43 from Utah.

BYU has 3 players from the southeast.

On a scale from 1 to dumb, you're a freaking moron !

Are you talking about Ohio St?

If so, nah

QB CJ Stroud - Cali
RB Treveyon Henderson - Virginia
RB Miyan Williams - Ohio
RB Master Teague - Tennessee
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Texas
WR Garrett Wilson - Texas
WR Chris Olave - Cali
WR Emeka Egbuka - Washington
TE Jeremy Ruckert - New York

OL Nicholas Petit-Frere - Florida
OL Thayer Munford - Ohio
OL Luke Wypler - New Jersey
OL Paris Johnson Jr. - Ohio
OL Dawand Jones - Indiana

I'm not 100% sure on their starting OL so I went with OurLads' depth chart.

DE Tyreke Smith - Ohio
DL Taron Vincent - Maryland
DL Haskell Garrett - Nevada
DL Antwuan Jackson - Georgia
DE Zach Harrison - Ohio
DE J.T. Tuimoloau - Washington
DE Jack Sawyer - Ohio
LB Teradja Mitchell - Virginia
LB Cody Simon - New Jersey
LB Tommy Eichenberg - Ohio
LB Steele Chambers - Georgia
LB/S (Bullet) Ronnie Hickman - New Jersey
LB/S (Bullet) Kourt Williams II - Cali
DB Denzel Burke - Arizona
DB Bryson Shaw - Maryland
DB Marcus Williamson - Ohio
DB Sevyn Banks - Florida
DB Lathan Ransom - Arizona
DB Cameron Brown - Missouri
DB Cameron Martinez - Michigan

K Noah Ruggles - Florida
P Jesse Mirco - Australia

Texas isn't the South. Missouri really isn't either but heck, I'll give the South Missouri.

7 out the 36 I listed.

If you're talking about another team, I'm an idiot and proceed to shitepost.

Ohio State will always get who they want over Cincinnati.

The real threat to Ohio State is Fickell going to Notre Dame.

He can't convince 5 stars to choose cincy over osu,but probably could at ND.
Fickell has lifelong ties to recruiting Ohio, and now especially Cincinnati.

I'm not so sure about that. UC is the one school in Ohio that could prove to be problematic for OSU. Cincy isn't really a quintessentially Ohio anyway. It's always been it's own thing due to the southern influence and historical interconnectedness with southen river port cities.

They have a fanbase already for their basketball program, those fans generally want to be UC football fans over Ohio State fans. And UC being in the Big 12 will elevate the program, and increase the revenue to keep UC playing at a higher level than they ever have. It's entirely possible to me that UC carves out a chuck of southern Ohio for themselves and snakes some big time recruits from OSU every year going forward.

BTW, I grew up in Cincy and have a lot of family and friend ties to both UC and OSU. Not talking out of my arse here.
