Ark fans; I know your season imploded when Wilson went out of the ULM game and then lost the next 3. I understand the competition has been a little weak but still you are on a 2 game win streak and seem to be playing pretty well on Offense and defense.

I think you will beat Ole Miss, Tulsa, MSU and have a good shot at beating USCe(y'all have pretty much owned them recently) and you get LSU at home. Say you finish the season on a 6-1 run finishing at 7-5. (I think you can do all that but realistically 6-6 is where I think the record ends)

Get a good coach hired and things would look 100 times better than it did a few weeks ago. How would regard the season? One that could have been great if BP didn't frick up and pissed off even more or do you just not give a frick either way?

Au Fans:

Very similar questions: I think you beat Vandy, NMST, A.A&M and could beat A & M. Say you win those three and somehow manage to beat UGA and finish the reg season 6 & 6.

Chizick could claim to have met expectations every year on the plains except for this year but finishing the season on a 5-1 run would be huge. Plus at 6 & 6 you might get a bowl invite.

Would you be willing to give Chiz the benefit of the NC year and realize the new OC & DC in year 2 should be better? Recruiting class sticks and you should be in a good position to truely compete in a few years? I remember when he was hired Au fans claimed it would take 4+ years for him to fix Tubs mess maybe it's 5 years?

I'm thinking 8-4 and 2nd in the west after the typical Miss State, South Carolina and LSU implosions.

Maybe 3rd if LSU starts imploding early.

However this season would have had at best a 3 game swing with Petrino here as coach. The main goal would have still been out of reach because of our defensive dumpster fire.

Injuries have been an extra killer though and things may have gone differently if we didn't lose half our defense, our QB, our TE, our starting fullback and our backup fullback.

Either way though we've been in full on coach speculation mode since the ULM game.

Considering we were a top-10 team in the preseason I'd still be pretty bummed looking back on a 7-5 record.

Don't give a frick either way, we didn't fire the defense, we fired Petrino. The team would be 5-2 with Petrino.

i would be very proud of the players and honestly be fine with the season if that happened. after those 4 losses, i really wasn't expecting to win another game, much less play pretty decent and with heart as we have the past 2 games.

i'm over, way over petrino, and am looking forward to a new coach.

I could agree with this part(but I'm still kinda mad at the Petrino situation.)

Meh, Carolina will be the toughest game due to match ups.

Ms. State hasn't proven they can shut down our offense and their offense hasn't done jack on our shitty defense. Ole Miss is the same. LSU will depend on how long their defense is on the field and if ours can get their weak offense off it.

Looking forward to a new coach has helped take a lot of sting out of the bad season so far.
I think we have an outside shot at making a bowl, but it depends on which team shows up.
We have played a ton of freshman this year which can only help in the future.

It all depends on who the new coach is at the end of the season to determine how bad the season really was. IMO

I like your optimism, but Ole Miss, USCe, MSU, and LSU will give us fits. At this point, winning out wouldn't surprise me, but neither would losing out.

I just want to put this season to bed, and move on. Next year could be worse, three coaches in three years will take its toll.

Honestly, MSU has beaten no one and their record is fools gold. Arkansas should win Tulsa, Ole Miss, and MSU. We aren't scared of USCe either, but being on the road is a question. Most hog fans will agree that if we can make a bowl and win. The season wasn't a total disaster.

Disagree, SCAR will be the toughest game. Miss State hasn't proven anything this year.

Whatever you are smoking, I want a hit.

You beat Auburn and Kentucky. Congrats, doesn't mean that your team isn't still a pile of steaming shite.

You will lose out.

I think we go 6-6.

It is certainly disappointing, but at 6-6 the team doesnt look like a mess it did before and there a clearly a bunch of freshman for the new coach to come in and build on
