Nominate a player and type a sentence or two for why that player is the best at his position based on 3 weeks of football, 2012 does not matter.
Things to consider are bye-weeks, so some players might not have the total yards etc of another, but has actually been the best player overall.
Also consider the competition the player was up against.
Links to stats are also appreciated.
I'll get this started with a few spots plugged in, feel free to nominate players to bump the guy out of the spot. Obviously not written in stone.
Offense:
QB- Johnny Manziel (AnM)
RB- Alex Collins (Ark)
RB- Jeff Scott (Ole Miss)
FB- Quayvon Hicks (UGA)
WR- Mike Evans (AnM)
WR- Odell Beckham (LSU)
Slot- Christion Jones (Bama)
TE- Evan Engram (Ole Miss)
RT- Ced Ogbhuehi (AnM)
RG-
C- Travis Swanson (Ark)

LT- La'el Collins (LSU)
Defense:
DE- Jadeveon Clowney (USC)
DE- Za'Darius Smith (UK)
DT- Sterling Bailey (UGA)

MLB- Avery Williamson (UK)
MLB- Amarlo Herrera (UGA)

Alex Collins is not a Rebear..
Also, Chris Smith, DE (4.5 sacks)
Travis Swanson, C (hands down best in the league, probably the nation)
Razorbacks all

Still issue with FB even being listed 2/3 of teams don't use it. You teams are too big.

DE Za'Darius Smith from UK. Currently is tied for #1 in the nation in sacks and did a pretty good job containing Teddy Bridgewater yesterday. Unlike some of the other guys in the SEC who also tied for #1, he's played a Top 10 team with a top offense.
ETA: Lots o' stats

Zach m leads the coherence in QBR, has 9 Tds and o picks, and should be the qb. He's undefeated. Manziel isn't a winner

If Copeland was on there you wouldn't have a problem with it.

I will choke a bitch if any Hogs are on this list because they have not played any SEC games and therefore are all dogshit.
