Thought we could use this thread to post our favorite spots to eat in NWA for ourselves, but also as a spot for visiting fans to check out who may be making a trip up for games in the fall.

Rue Orleans: went there this weekend. Was pretty darn good, as usual. For those curious, it's on the south part of college.

Burger Patti: on Wedington beside the Green Submarine. Split a burger with the wife there a week or so ago. May be the best burger I've had up here.

You guys add to it!

Geraldi's get the chicken parm sammich.

Flying Brian's Hawaiian is pretty good and different from anything else in town. It's not L&L level but it's good and Brian and his wife are super nice. It's open for breakfast too.

My fav taco is at a lil mexican joint on W Huntsville in Springdale. B/n Gutensohn & 71. Marinated chicken taco with a bit of tapatio hot sauce is the tits.

Gusano's Chicago style is my fav pizza now. Tim's or US pizza if I'm close and don't want to drive to Wedington. Who can report on Mellow Mushroom?

My go-to lunch is Slims right now

If not there, I will usually be at one of these around noon:

Flying Burrito
Mong Dynasty
Whole Hog
Jasons Deli
Charlie's Chicken
Zaxbys

I think we should have food in Little Rock at least twice a year. IT BRINGS THE WHOLE STATE TOGETHER.

I'm not going to apologize.

Slim's is legit. I'm all about that Smokey Cheddar Wrap.

Flying Burrito

They call it Flying Burrito because that damn food is flying out of me about 3 minutes after I leave the restaurant.

Whole Hog

Legit. Big fan of the Volcano sauce.

Zaxbys

I refuse to eat at Zaxby's until they bring back the good ice that they used to have.

Also, try out Wes's BBQ that's right behind the Kappa Sig house. Cheap as hell and good food. I don't think they take credit cards, though.

Flying burrito sucks dick.

Mellow mushroom is good. Their crust is really fresh

I love JJ's, got one on wedington right by me. Had burger patti, it's a good burger but not sure it's the best I've had here. I like a grubs burger better IMO.

Gusanos is good, usually hit up their half off Tuesday's

The same 3 guys that worked there in the early 2000's were still there when I stopped in a month ago.

I usually get the burger and fried with an extra side of BBQ sauce for the fries and put it on the burger. It's primo. Way back when it was a staple because my live in gf signed a lease in the shitty apartments on the hill; she knew I loved the place but I sure as shite didn't want to live in that area. I think it's gotten better now though.

Marty, if you live close to JJs on Wedington, you live near a couple of my stores.

Oh and the Flying Burrito on Wedington is absolute shite. How bout that new Walgreens that's going in and the Kum and Go that will be between it and the fire station.

In two years Ruple will be 4 lanes to 6th street as well

It has I just moved out of that area, lived in some nice decent price apartments over there. Wes's was the shite while I lived there.

I always end up creating my own monster grilled cheese. It usually ends up looking like this when they bring it out:

Yes and I know the chef very well. Used to live in the apartments directly behind there and still go to the bar next door probably 4 times a week.

I like mezza luna it's a little pricey but food is good just don't order a steak they frick it up pretty consistently.
