Hope Green Submarine succeeds and makes a run at a midtown or downtown location at some point.
Remember when Loafin Joe's had like 5 locations in Fayetteville? Remember when they were called "Sub Station"? Remember when you could eat there for less than $12? I do.

I do. West side traffic just beats me down at the times of day that I'm out and about. I'm content with my little midtown circle. If I didn't work up there, I'd be happy never going north of Township.

I just always feel like Im getting ripped off at Backyard. You can go to Feltners etc. and basically spend the same amount of money for better food.
As for Wendy's, it's so much better than it used to be back in the day, not even close.
Have yall had Z's Pizza yet? It's good stuff as well. Good apps to

With Flying Burrito moving to Dickson
Weren't they already off Dickson by the WAC parking lot?
I'm a ghost in Fayetteville these days so I know nothing. I figure it all depends on how much Daddy Archie is willing to lose to make Flying Burrito a regional franchise.
The one they had in Tulsa on Brookside didn't last too long, our Gusano's is now gone. On the bright side, I'm losing weight tho.

Have not tried Z's. Backyard just hires shitty people, IMO. I go to Wendy's because its a step up from McDonald's and their service is always great.
Good comparison on Feltner's with BYB.

Only thing I get from Loafin Joe's is the $5 pizza deal. Greasy but good. Green Sub will put them out of business if they get downtown

Flying Burrito is moving up onto Dickson proper to a spot that used to be the gyro joint before the gyro joint moved to College Ave.

You should get on the Fayetteville Flyer once a week and get all the updated info. They usually have an article every few weeks that talks about restaurants opening and closing etc. Good stuff, especially since you aren't living here right now.
But they are moving into the old Greek place basically across the street from Qdoba and they're gonna be open late. No way they both make it and I didn't even mention Los Bobos which is awesome. Place is a gold mine

Los Bobos is legit. They make the tacos in front of you, on the grill. Fantastic drunk food.
I had two dogs from the old hot dog dude, (as opposed to the young two hot dog dudes) on Dickson Friday night.
It was fantastic, but I was also shitfaced. I like that we have competing street food vendors year round on Dickson now.

Is that space the restaurant purgatory area that's kinda across the way from George's?
If you moved here in '99 it was a fondue place called the Left Bank then, there's been dozens of restaurants in that strip.

Yeah that's it. Archie will make it work Im sure.
I support the young Hotdog dude, he's cool, Cody something or other. The old dudes stuff looks kinda dirty but he is there on Wednesday nights so if you're craving a dog you gotta go to him. I've been crushing Waffle House late night lately if it's slow in there, can't beat there dollar menu

Posted on 7/24/13 at 2:26 pm to trillhog

I had taziki's. I agree, they do a good job. For chain food, its great. They serve you real glass glasses. GLASS. Fast casual!
frick me, my salad and stuff was so good.
I hope they don't run Kosmo's or the other greek locals out of business. I doubt they do, though. Its far on the arse end of town.

they are a locally (little rock) owned at least, even if they are a chain. Kosmo's is good, but they need a bigger menu imo.
