Have you forgotten already our offense and the lack of a run game under him?

How much of that was the "Freeze Effect?" And was it better under Werner once Freeze left him alone to some extent?

Do you remember how bad our offensive line was when it was coached by our now head coach?

Why not offer Eli a gig as QB coach ?
The name recognition would help us
recruit decent QB’s.

Does Werner run spread or pro?

Luke would not allow us to have an in effective run game. Being cut from the cloth he is, he's going to want to dominate the run game probably more than the passing attack. I think we may end up saying "ok ok we may have been to quick to jump ole Longo last year."

In all honesty Bicknell was a great hire. Outside of Rod Taylor false starts the OL was hardly ever the problem.

I read in another post that OM is the No.1 in SEC of QBs not being pressured. In other words, the OL is No.1 in protecting its QB.

Anyone listen to the podcast today? Luke said his first recruiting stop was McComb MS.

Glad to see we are back to our roots taking Southern MS and Louisiana Tech's players.

our oline was clearly improved. If you just keep one guy, make it the olinen coach.

Luke's first visit should have been to Tupelo.

Damn, Moorhead was a good hire for State. Let's hope Luke's instate connections give him the edge in recruiting.

Longo keeps our defense on the field 45 minutes a game, he has to go. He lacks the ability to make any sort of in game strategic changes

There’s been some fodder about Bradley Dale Peveto going to A&M. Anyone heard anything?

Now who can argue with that? I think we're all in debt to Fireman17 for stating what needed to be said. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed the courage little seen in this day and age.

Alabama just hired Karl Scott to coach DB’s so it appears that Jason Jones will continue to remain on staff.

Is Jon Sumrall going to be the hire to coach linebackers?

That would be a good hire.
