This season? Honestly want to see Ken Webster return to his pre-injury form. Just saw a pic of the leader board of Rebels in Vertical and Broad Jump. He is #1 and #2 respectively which is amazing after the injury during the FSU game.

Also want to see what Summerall can do with our LBers. Every where he has been (Tulane ans Troy) he has taken middling performers and turned them into impact players. If he can do that in Oxford I will be ecstatic!

The defense is the key to the season exceeding everyone's expectations.

The offense will be exciting to watch. Maybe even to the point of record setting. A balanced attack will help the defense and shorten games. The big play will be even harder to defend if opposing defenses can't stop the run Rebel run game.

For me, Jordan was the better QB. He understood the importance of getting positive yardage and keeping drives alive. Too often Shea made bone headed decisions that cost the offense yardage that would have made the next play easier.

This offense could give meaning to the phrase, "First team to 70 wins."

Behind a veteran offensive line, I am interested in seeing how Phillips and Woullard fair.

Can Givens play this season or will his head issues recur?

If he and Swinney have good years I'll be happy. I still feel bad for Conner that he never got over his knee injury and faded away.

Conner sure got a raw deal. Injury is part of the game, but he was just never able to come back from that. It was weird.

WE have 3 new wide receivers - DeMarcus Gregory, Miles Battle and Elijah Moore.

Which one stands out and replaces VanJefferson?

Not excited, but curious to see how the kicking game is this year.
We need every break to get to 6-6.

Tisdale is a great looking athlete. Hope he comes to campus in shape and can adjust quickly through camp. He could help the rotation at DE.

Word is that Noah Jefferson will not make it to campus.

This is positive news for the defense. He should be ready to play this year. That's another big body on the SDE position to help with controlling the run game.

Evans only goes about 250lbs, Robinson was moved over and brings a bigger frame and 280 lbs and Wiley is about 265 lbs.

Last season the defense struggled not having a SDE that could hold the edge in the running game. I think Speaks being moved over to SDE was a good move and helped the defense. At least until he got ejected in the state game.

This is from the Soft Verbal podcast with Russell Johnson & Neal McCready. It has something to do with transcripts once again. There were rumors during his recruiting process that Florida couldn't get him qualified and it took us an extra 6 months to figure that out. This is not a guarantee, but looks pretty likely.
