Is Uber and/or Lyft a thing in Oxford? It's been a number of years since I've been to a game, and we're looking at renting a place a few miles away from all the action (due to the large number of people). I'm hoping there are better options than Angel Taxi by now...

Yeah, I haven't used it but I think it started last year.

Uber and lyft are in Oxford. I drove for Uber when it came back. There aren't as many lyft drivers due to the requirements to become a lyft driver. If you do get an Uber make sure they aren't from Memphis. It will cost you a whole lot more simply because they don't know oxford.

I live in Oxford and Uber has been pretty good since it's arrival. You will typically have a longer wait time on a busy night, but that's expected.

Be careful though - have heard rumors and accounts from friends that some Uber drivers are actually cops that are looking for drunk idiots and underage college kids.

I'm no lawyer but, that seems like entrapment.

Let a cop arrest you under false pretense easy lawsuit.
Those dui incentives are crazy. Uber would have saved me many court dates in Oxford. So much more affordable and quicker than a cab.

I'm almost under the impression the cab industry must get some sort of kickback from the DUI racket OPD runs, which would explain why the city and cab industry fought so hard to keep Uber out. Plus, the $5 flat fee for cabs is just dumb
