Oh, the joy of having a partner slash your billable hours so he can create the illusion of saving the client money, while still padding his own hours.

Happened this summer when I was a clerk.
Cut my billable hours one pay period from 62 to something like 51 or 50.
Her reasoning? I didn't get any, just an email that said my billable hours were being cut and, subsequently, to expect a smaller paycheck.

The life of working your way up the food chain.
It's so worth it though.

You should all have followed my game-plan.
Drop out of law school and marry a hot doctor.

What can I say? If you slip and stumble through life long enough, eventually someone who has their shite together will have mercy on you and adopt you out of pity.

Taking a break from studying for my Management & Production test tomorrow. Was curious to find out what y'all think will be the toughest game for the Rebs during the remainder of your schedule. I was thinking LSU or TAMU, but y'all get them both at home this year. Egg Bowl? maybe, it will all depend on how good State looks the rest of the way. If y'all handle Florida, I see y'all going 11-1. If it's close and the team struggles, I'm thinking y'all drop 2 games. When do y'all plan on breaking ground for VHS expansion?
On an unrelated note: For those who are in OM Law or Alumni, how would you rank your experience. Looking at Law schools throughout the SEC and want to narrow down my options.

LSU will be the test.
I went to a different law school than OM, but am an OM undergrad alum. OM undergrad was a great experience, but I made the right decision to leave after I got my undergrad degree, as some of my friends were on the 6-8 year leisure management track, and would not have been a good influence. And I could drink for free, or on a deep discount, at most bars-which also probably wouldn't have helped my ability to focus on post-grad studies.
Most people I know that came to OM for law school from somewhere else, even from MS State, have told me how great it is. I even know a couple that have converted to OM fans.

Wherever I go, I will pull for them as my second team as that school will have provided me the education to be successful in Law, even if it's Ole Miss or LSU.

Why do ya want to go to law school, brah?
I won't tell you anything bad, but it takes a lot of patience, perseverance, etc. when you deal with peoples' bullshite for a living.
Just make sure you want to do it.
Oh, and I hope you enjoy non-pleasure reading and writing.
