If whistlin starts the next one....he'll likely curse us straight into probation.

So I got to talk to my Twitter beef, Rosebowl, tonight. Hate that it was work related. Could have been a hell of a lot more eventful if it wasn't.

Do you think Nixon will be the starter at slot before the end of the next season?

No.. I think people are forgetting how good the receivers currently on campus are. AJ and DK and maybe even Nixon could be 3 year players.. But so could String, Van and Lodge.. Not to mention Quincy and Pack ahead of them too.

About 120 receptions graduated with Laquon and Core. There will be plenty to go around.

True. I just don't think AJ, DK or Nixon are going to be anywhere near the starting lineup by year end. Not sure if everyone else has too much faith in the guys not on campus who haven't played or if I have too much faith in the guys that are on campus that haven't played.

As long as someone is catching them, I don't really care who it is.

Only reason I think he might is because freeze said Nixon brings something to the team other recievers don't have. Break away speed

I'm superstitious. This year we got the #1 QB, #1 OT, Best Receiver and our of Starkville, an O-line class that made me forgive Matt Luke (Never thought I would say that) and countless other stars.

I'd say you did well and you should do it.

I'm under the impression Nixon is a pure outside guy. I'm excited to see what Van Jefferson can do in the slot though. Or Quincy with Lodge on the outside. Our 2017 offensive skill positions are elite af on paper.

EDIT: That Moo Compliance tweet is incredible.

Congrats on y'all's class

Still a little salty that we didn't get AJ Brown, but it wouldn't be a Bama recruiting cycle without getting Landmass'd a few times.

Yes, the QB/receiver situation at OM is as good as it gets this side of Cam Newton and whoever he throws to (I don't really watch the NFL).
