This is the age of offense. Defense is overrated.

Tayler Polk is probably right behind Gates, Caldwell, and Curtis. Hoping he has a breakout season. He was ferocious in HS.

Don't we have a memphis LB transferring in? Grenada kid, Avery I think.

Low ceiling but if he can be serviceable it's a win. He actually need him next year.

Tisdale the DE is apparently coming in as a LB

Mathis the TE is apparently coming in as a LB

Who else? Jarrion Street?

Tony Conner is basically a LB in our scheme.

Shawn Curtis will play both starting linebacker spots at once which should help with depth.

Add Jarrion Street to that after a week in fall camp.

I still don't get why we recruit athletic kids that can maybe turn into a linebacker instead of going hard after linebackers themselves. Avery will help a ton in 2017, but we have to stay healthy at LB in '16.

Let's let him be one of the best DE in the country. I think we have a starting 2 LB in Gates and Caldwell. Then Curtis, Evans, Pork and Strong to support. Give them a year to develop.

Kain Daub former 4 star LB from FSU
Daub is set to graduate in the spring, and Boden said schools are awaiting to see his progress before moving forward.
“Ole Miss has been calling him the whole time,” Boden said. “They’re interested. All the schools are poking around. They want to see how he’s doing here.”

It's a pipe dream but if we could get any contribution out of Ray Smith and Strong it could go a long way. They certainly have the experience and there will be opportunities.
