I know I’m greedy and we had already scored four, but a bases loaded hit by our number two hitter right there would have really broken this one open.

Strike zone is now the size of a pea.

And this is why we’ll be lucky to win a regional.

Is Vandy throwing one of their aces tonight?
Posted on 5/26/21 at 5:32 pm to HamzooReb
No Their starter tonight is 17. Graduated high school in December.

If we get shut down by a 17 year old tonight I will be done with Ole Miss baseball for eternity.
Posted on 5/26/21 at 7:50 pm to HamzooReb
I know right... but I’m here to tell ya eternity is a mighty long time...

Throw Bradfield’s arse out. Of the game that is.

Sounds like Vandy is definitely trying to help us win by throwing a mid week 17 year old pitcher who should be at his high school prom and sitting several other starters out.
The problem is our offense is the opposite of clutch so far tonight. Side note sit Cael Baker on the bench please. Play anyone at first but him.

Elko is a powerful SOB!

The 17 year old comes out of the game and we finally wake up. Hope he isn't injured too bad.

Give elko a statue or something.

Despite the L, hell of a fricking game

Don't know why Bianco left JD in that long. Oh well.

A win last night if we have to pitch Broadway basically guarantees an L against Arkansas today which puts us in the same spot as beating UGA today. I don’t hate it, although Dougherty clearly wasn’t as good in the 9th

I think we were guaranteed a loss against Arky anyways. Should have took the W against Vandy for resume purposes.

The problem is that Bianco always puts Broadway in in the 7th when we probably could get him to the 8th, adding to his pitch count. Because of the scheduling of the games, you have to watch the pitch count of your big late inning arms but Broadway could have easily pitched today as well and then if we win had tomorrow off.

Yea we are flirting on the host bubble. If some others go deep in thier tourneys they may take our spot. I would rather the win.
