Might have admittedly been a little drunk but still realistic. I’ll keep preaching that without a hefty NIL (like double what we have now) we are in deep water with OU and TX coming.

My thoughts on Partridge are that he wasn't our worst coordinator this season....

I’m ok with keeping Partridge but I think he’d be better being co-dc with someone better/more experienced like we had last year. Weis otoh should never be allowed back in north Mississippi

We only need to be competitive for the top 10 or so players at each position. They can’t all sign with Texas and we all know the top ranked guys don’t all pan out. And being showcased in an offense which increases your nfl draft stock > riding the pine for a few extra NIL dollars. The NFL is still what they are playing for.

We call that a “demotion” and I’m fin with that. Need someone else to call the plays.

Yeah, Partridge would not exactly see that as a vote of confidence particularly if you bring in someone from outside the program.
