So who are we going to hire to replace Mike? The guy from Southern Miss? The guy from Auburn?

Wherever they guy from Murray state is from last year, don’t know if he’s still there but they were fundamentally sound and could hit and he did all that with no resources

Imagine what he could do at our level and our buy in

Give the guy double whatever he’s making there and make him say no. ( he signed a new deal for 250 a year… Mike makes 1.6 million… give the guy 600 and save that million for something else )

With the loss today that concludes the season for the baseball team. See you guys next year hopefully with a new coach.

We know where we all stand but I’m curious how hot do we think mikes seat is at the moment?

Getting swept and not really being that competitive against State… it’s a loooooong way from winning the natty…

Keith has gotta be hearing a lot of noise about gettting rid of him right ??

We’ve had 3 failure seasons after the championship with this season also looking like another failure. That has to get you fired if we are serious as a baseball program.

We have top 10 facilities, top 3 buy-in/attendance, and have been a top 10 ranked team more seasons than not in the 21st century. Yeah Bianco built us up, but it’s time to go. Keith has to know that.

We should be no worse than a top 10 team every single season. Everything post 2022 has been unacceptable (and even then the 22 regular season should’ve had him fired).

no, we were a super regional team in 21 and probably would’ve made a good bit of noise in Omaha if Hoglund didn’t tear his UCL in May that season.

I do firmly believe we had a national championship contending team in both ‘20 & ‘21 but we were fricked by the plandemic and injuries. Of course Bianco probably Bianco’s if we made it those years, but who knows.

The 2020 and 2021 teams were petty solid. Unfortunately we never got to see the full potential of the Nikhazy/Hoglund combo.

Just saw a really depressing stat. We scored 8 runs total combined this week.

In no particular order:
Cliff Godwin - having a very rare down season at ECU but proven he can do more with less.
Kevin Schnall at Coastal Carolina
Scott Forbes at UNC

I seem to remember that we hit the balll REALLY well under Godwin. As in manufacturing runs instead of hoping for walks and dingers.

Yep, and Godwin is making less than half at ECU vs what Bianco is making.

Isn’t he from ECU though? I don’t know if he’d want to leave, especially since he hasn’t even taken them to Omaha yet

He is an alumn but considering he hasn't gotten them to the CWS in 11 years, he may be willing to try somewhere else for twice the money.

I’m for a total clean slate overhaul

Not a Bianco protege

He's 448–226–2 as a HC at ECU, 23–20 in the tournament, made the tournament 8/10 years (Super Regional 4 times), won the conference 5 times, and was part of the 2014 staff that took us to the CWS.
