I was worried about us shooting our wad too early but their entire team looked demoralized when the cameras showed them in the dugout the last two innings. They looked like they just wanted to go home.
Need to come out firing on all cylinders and extinguish any hope they might have.

Coming out and going up by 3-4 runs early would be the dagger for OU. Do not need to let them linger and have any sense of momentum. Feel pretty confident with Elliot on the mound but let’s please not let this go to a game 3.

I'm still super nervous bc you know WAOM. I also looked over some of the recent history of past CWS finals and lots of teams have choked after winning the 1st game. Thankfully we will have our 2 aces for pitching
