Well our last guy was from Marshall and got an NFL job so I look for the Bears to hire this guy before Tuesday

When he was the special teams coordinator at North Texas my cousin was a backup safety and on kickoff coverage team. I made it a point to watch several games. The performance of the special teams when he was there was great. Every game I had a chance to watch the special teams units had a positive effect on the game.

Yeah, if you actually go read his bio his special teams looked pretty damn good at UNT and he was thought to be good enough for fellow power five purdue. I will assume this is a solid hire until proven otherwise.
