Simmons was arrested for beating a woman and it was actually caught on tape. Call it whatever you want

That's obvious. You have absolutely no idea what happened in this situation since no real info is out there yet.
If there was video of him beating some defenseless woman I guarantee he would already be headed out the door. He would have been kicked off the team before he even got released from jail.

I've heard some witnesses say that he never struck his girlfriend. Not sure how true that is though.

I know now if there is a call for domestic violence both parties go to jail. So she may have been hitting him and he just held her hands to stop or pushed her away so he will be charged with it also.
