1. Sonny Dykes
2. Dave Arvada

This is the only list that matters if kiffin leaves.

At this point I don’t think Dykes would leave TCU.

Yeah, doubtful Dykes would leave his home state with an easier schedule and living in Fort Worth. Gonna have to go after an up and comer, the KSU coach or an older guy on his last job despite our salary potential. I’d rather a young charismatic offensive guy, like Lane, and dump the money we save in salary on NIL which is the most important part of our commitment to staying relevant.

Make Fickell say no to $8 mil + and then go from there.

Aranda is my choice. Dude is a no nonsense professional. Whooped our arse last year in the Sugar Bowl and I think is having a decent rebuilding year even though their record doesn't reflect it.

Luke fickell's buy out is just 3.5M before 2023 and will be 3.0M After jan.1st 2023. His current salary is 35M for 7 years through 2028, which is less than 5M for 2022.

He is an Ohio guy. He’s not leaving Cincinnati unless it’s for Ohio State or another big Big 10 school

Then Dave Aranda is a safe hire. He is cool and smart on defense. Don't know if he can recruit . His current salary is 6M.

Probably not, but I'd at least make him say no.

Ok make tcu make him a top 8 paid coach then. All the reasons kiffin would go to auburn are the same dykes would come to ole miss. Better program, more money, better facilities.

He was on campus a few years ago interviewing for the OC job.

(Kiffin is staying) but if he doesn’t, I want Tcu and Baylor paying 10M for their coach or I want either of them in a powdered blue polo

Edit: “seasons” was supposed to be “reasons”

Great coach, I’m not sold on his ability to recruit outside the Midwest.

Also I am pretty confident the word around him is that he is waiting for the Ohio State, Michigan, ND job.

Ryan day doesn’t seem to be going anywhere though

Ryan Day isn't going anywhere and he was passed over for the ND job. He may be more open now then he's previously been to a job outside the mid west.

He recruits Florida heavily at Cinci. Get a couple South East guys on staff and I think our roster / recruiting would be fine.

I agree completely with you. Why in the world would a coach at an established program leave his job, unless he has MS ties, to come to Ole Miss who might be gutted in the portal if Lane leaves. So you move to Oxford and go from 6 mil to 8 (with a 4 yr max) and have a rebuild with likely bottom third NIL money and TX and OU joining. We need to be realistic and appreciate we caught lightning in a bottle for 3 yrs and immediately start an aggressive marketing for NIL.

If Kiffin's gone - at least he helped us raise a ton in NIL over the last week. Odd he'd help a soon to be rival team be better positioned to compete, but thanks I guess.

That’s the thing..What’s “a ton”..what does Ark have? LSU? What do we have specifically? Is this public? If not, it’s a bottomless pit

1. Freeze is never coaching here again. It's arguing over a hypothetical that is never happening.

2. Kiffin should make a statement, and I can't help but think Jimmy Sexton is right there in his ear telling him he'll lose money by committing before the end of the season.

I wish schools would just put an end to that son of a bitch. Everyone gets to be held hostage every November while this guy shops for more money for coaches who already make a shitload of money.

And I'm not absolving Kiffin, but show me a coach who won't indulge this shite. Even Sam Pittman jumped in the fray for a raise last year.

Hell, I'm getting to the point where I want to see the two teams I actually care about win something soon just because this whole system is so top heavy with money that I feel like it has to cave in on itself sooner than later.

I've heard, through some of the pay board reporters, that we have raised over $1 mil more than what Kiffin told the collective we needed this year for his recruiting goals.

In any event, the number of donations to the Grove Collective has just about doubled this last week or two.
