Pretty normal for us. When we face good pitching our bats go into a shell and hide. Announcers say we have dangerous bats but I don't see it. They feast on the sisters of the poor to get all of their stats.

Wasted a more than serviceable outing by Elliot.
I think this is the nightmare scenario we will face in a regional since flaws always find you in the postseason. Hunter is good, but not perfect and some 3 seed ace is going to force our bats to go cold and we will fight our way out of the losers bracket not giving Elliot any run support.

Elliot was solid, but you can't walk the 7 and 8 hitters back to back. That's what lost us the ballgame tonight.

I've always held the firm belief that walking the bottom order of the lineup is the cardinal sin in baseball.
That said our bats were nonexistent tonight too so they are of equal fault.
