If it happens, ah well. I'm tired of having these rumors every year, the deal will have been financially dumb for their athletic department to make, and I fully believe Lane will be run off in 3 years from Auburn due to the booster culture and Lane being unable to manage it. We'll hire someone else and life will move on.
If he stays, he'll be in a better situation with less headache. It's up to him.

If he’s gone, the best hire we can make is Freeze. Who gives a flying frick if he’s a fake preacher who called escorts? He is paid to win and he will do that. Some people need to get over his “fakeness” if they truly want to make the best hire.

Freeze beating Arkansas and then losing to UCONN made me have flashbacks to Memphis/shitty Arky teams. No thank you.

He’s still 8-2 and lost to 6-5 UConn. It’s not that horrible of a loss. It amazes me how so many programs would hire him but we turn our nose up at him because we have a bunch of prudes in charge

Ps Kiffin isn’t going to auburn unless they are stacked enough to give him Jimbo money. Why would you walk away from this roster unless you’re offered a dream job. He’s looking at 10-2 on a rebuild with the best returning RB and QB in the sec.

Yeah if Auburn gives him a Jimbo type of contact then I couldn’t be mad at the dude for taking it. shite I would leave Ole Miss for that kind of money

we very likely could drop both games. Arky has a mobile QB thats hard to bring down and a stellar RB thats going to pound the middle. Our defense wont come out as high as they were early against Alabama + our injuries.
State will have a field day picking apart our zone coverage... I dont mind the 3 man front, but we gotta rush 4 or more to add pressure like we did earlier in the season.

It's an absolutely terrible loss coming off a road upset over an SEC team. Liberty was a two touchdown favorite and had a great shot to finish 11-1 and in the top 20.

The let down game happens to the best of coaches. Hard to keep your guys focused after they went into Arky and won. I will never forget the fact that Freeze resigned and didn't attempt to go after any buyout money and before your say we fired him for cause, we had dumbass Bjork in charge. His agent Jimmy Sexton could have sucked some money out of the Athletic Department.

How did we do injury wise this week on the defensive side? I didn't see many. I hope I didn't miss anything.
Is it possible to come back from a concussion and play in a week's time? I.E. Evans.
Does KJ Jefferson play this weekend and how sharp will he be if he does?
And not a question but I really like Judkins in the Wildcat close to the goal line. No smaller QB much would have scored.

I thought our defense played about as good as they possibly could have Saturday. The tackling became poorer and poorer as the game went along, but I guess you can chalk that one up to fatigue.

If he stays at Liberty through this coach hiring cycle I am just going to assume he either really likes Liberty or we are not privy to something else that he did that is keeping schools away from him.
