Great 2nd half! Glad our offense played better, and the defense did more as a unit when it counted.

Much better 2md half. Looked really good there for long stretches. Get healthy and see where the last 3 games get us

We had some long sustained drives. It was good to see. Defense stepped up but they still have a ways to go.

I want to beat the pigs and the pups. I don’t think we have a chance against Bama but we win the other two and it’s a very successful season.

That last punt by Fraser Masin pretty much ended the game. He deserves a shite ton of credit for that amazing punt. This game reminded me a lot like the Tennessee game last year. It was ugly at times but we did just enough to win it. If you told any Ole Miss fan we would be 8-1 before playing Bama they would 100 percent take it.

It's all any of us could have asked for. The Nov. 12, game versus Alabama is full of implications.

I think we can be competitive with Bama at home. Remember Bama had to defend a last play to beat A&M at Kyle Field.
On different note I think the entire team took a huge step forward. There in the 2nd Qtr, in front of 100K hostile fans, they manned up. The OL and D looked shell shocked and I thought LSU is gonna beat us twice. But the defense stiffened and the OL seemed to settle in.
Now we need Partridge to remember that switching back and forth between a 3 man and 4 man fronts had a definite impact.

My observations:
Dart played a really good game yesterday.
Cruz is a hell of a kicker. He really deserves more credit than he gets. He nailed a 46 yarder. That ended up being the difference in the score.
Playing Mingo at TE was a good move.
It was nice to have Evans back in there.
We should NEVER use the 3 man rush on D.
Our play calling was a head scratcher at times.
It was a good win.
