You best believe I'm rooting for them against bama next week - that's far more useful to us.
Maybe it's because I now live outside Mississippi but my hated for state has wained and now it's what's best for Ole Miss - and next week that's a State win

Without a doubt. Along with that we should ALWAYS route for East teams over West teams.

Defensive coaches should be fired after this game. They got embarrassed against Vandy and now against Auburn. Two of the worst teams in the SEC.

Scheme may play a part but out LBs and D line can’t get off blocks. Need some big D line to soak up blocks. We are lacking there with injuries

The first Qtr we looked great on D. Then Auburn adjusted with using their TE exclusively as a blocker. That means they were run blocking 6 plus the ball carrier on a 3-2 between the tackles. We don’t have the OLB needed to play a 3-4 D but we have the DL to run a 4-2 with a safety shading down. And when they passed we only rushed 3 2nd QTR on.
Now after the lightening delay, Auburn was forced to throw and our staff adjusted and didn’t just rush 3 like we were previously. But the D staff needs to see that our upcoming opponents will do the same exact thing and we need to ID a way to be more multiple.

I’m thrilled to be 7-0 but it’s been so ugly it feels like it’s been the calm before the storm that is our last 5 games

Exactly how I feel. No idea if we will keep winning or finish 8-4
