Keenan missed out on the freshman team? Who made it over him?

Pretty sure Auburn announced Mize would stay on normal schedule and won’t throw until Friday

I watched thier game today and they interviewed between innings. The announcers said the Auburn HC said the earliest they would pitch Mize in Thursday.

Theres really no need for Auburn to use him tomorrow. They're already in the NCAA tourney, and they've made it to the double-elimnation portion of the SEC tournament. I think they'd want to have him paying in an elimination game, because tomorrows game isn't as 'must win' for them.

Any guess who we'll pitch this afternoon vs Auburn?

For some reason I was thinking we might go with some weekday starters for the first game and then rolo next round, this works too though

They are 100% throwing Mize today. They don't have the pitching to make it to the championship, but a win vs. us could put them in play to host a regional. They're throwing all their chips on the table today.

Needless to say, we have to be ready to take their best shot.

Their coach said during the game yesterday not until Thursday at the earliest, during an SECN interview.

I could see them possibly doing what kentucky did, if their starter struggles then bring in their ace.

Luckily for us we’ve been playing all these Thursday Friday Saturday series so we are only moving everyone up one day. For starting pitchers that’s not that big of a deal. We got lucky on that from a starters standpoint, but our relief pitching better not get touched this weekend it better be freshman and midweek guys

I don’t know why but I’m just not as comfortable with Rolo pitching now as I was earlier in the year. He has some good stuff but it seems like a lot of teams are able to adjust to him more. I’m hoping that he proves me wrong and this turns out to be a reverse jinx.

And don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a good guy and a good prospect moving forward. Just haven’t been as comfortable with him throwing lately than I was earlier in the season. Hope our bats break out early in the game and not have to give us nail biting come from behind late innings. It’s fun to watch them fight every inning, but lord it can be stressful watching them play comeback. Here’s to a good day and week.

I much prefer Rebel blowouts. I'm just not wired to enjoy nail biters.

Happy not to see Mize, at least to start you’d think. aTm beating Georgia theoretically helps us too. We need to win. First pitch should be less than a half hour from now. Lfg

One at bat and two things stand out for me already: Olenek needs to start looking at more pitches and there's another Sportscenter Top 10 to take away a hit.
