Hope McArthur goes deep in game 3.. our pen may be awfully thin as well by then

Ffs. Losing a game like that after that many times thinking you’ll win... could be bad with only 45 minutes left to bounce back.

I’m so sick of losing games in this fashion. When we have an opportunity or two or three to win games and we can’t capitalize on any of them because of lackluster play in the field, we need to make a change or schedule some extra fielding practices.

We have to start trying austin miller or cioffi in high instensity situations. We have some losers in the pen right now

Couldn’t agree more. Ethridge has been terrible, Dallas has lost his edge, and we can’t just rely on Carraci to carry us to the promised land all time.
This is the type of loss that could be put us out of contention for the SEC West later in the season. Gotta get those wins when you can.

Ultimately that game was lost because we couldn't make a play in the field, not relief pitching. Should have never had to go to Woolfolk or Holston.

Woolfolk is terrible though. I hate his release. It seems like he's falling away from the pitch and taking velocity off of it in the process.

It’s also pretty bullshite that we were set to play 14 instead of 18 today. Really penalizes a team that generates a decent amount of late-game offense
At least we drew first blood in Game 2

While some of the blame does go on Adams, he has been outstanding in the field so far this year. Some topspin on that turf can throw off a ton of fielders. Not trying to say he shouldn't have made it, but Ill let it slide this one time
