Would have been nice to get a run or two there with bases loaded and no outs.

Crap, just one would have been nice. Sure like Zabowki's bat but he's slow as sin.

Still got us a nice lead, but six runs on 14 hits is not the ideal ratio.

Awesome job bouncing back.

Worst baseball we’ve played all season. Especially in the field.

Find a way to win tomorrow and it’s another really successful week.

Kinda had a feeling that messing with the rotation wouldn't be good for us

How so? We've lost the first game of every series except A&M. Really couldn't be worse. We need to sweep someone before the season is over.

We've got a good shot to sweep Bama or South Carolina

Careful, remember that we're not going to Omaha.

Repeat.

How was the result any different than what it has been?

We got blown out by a shite team.

May have also happened with Rolison throwing, who knows. Sorry, knee jerk reaction to the first game. Long day today.

Great bounce back win right after, and it’s good to see Ryan pitching like his old self

We sure did. I habitually look for bright spots, and the only one I see for this game is that Feigl didn't actually get knocked around hard in their 8-run inning - it was like death by 1000 paper cuts. Also, some other "good" teams in conference took humiliating losses yesterday. Misery - company.

The "new" Dudy Noble may be a good venue for the attending fans, but that looks like an awful park for the guys who are on the field trying to play defense. Not that great for the home viewing audience either - I was constantly wondering what might be happening in the right field corner. JMHO - not a "dog" whistle.

I'm sure the place is very nice for the most part, and it all comes down to how you spin it and who you root for, but that right field part just looks like they ran out of room and said "the hell with it, just do this."

That bubble-type-thing in the RF corner is one of the worst design features I’ve ever seen. It makes the hill the Astros used to have in center look normal. I just don’t get why they’d design it like that

Whatever. Let’s win the series. If we win by 6 or more, we’ll have the series and have somehow clawed back a positive run differential against those clangalangin’ fools

Are wild pitches contagious?

Our SP has to be more consistent. We are an Omaha team if we pitch well. Gonna get slapped around in our own regional if we cant

I’m convinced it’s partially the bush league AstroTurf batters box. Our catchers are better than how they are playing this weekend.

The wild pitches are starting to get a little disconcerting, but minimizing a leadoff single/pass ball “double” to one run is certainly better than Game 1 yesterday
