Oregon State lost their series @ Utah. I think they were 1-3 for the week.

The top 5 will look like this:

1. Florida
2. Stanford
3. Ole Miss
4. Oregon State
5. Florida State

I think we go 4 and 0 this week as long as RR pitches well against State

That would be awesome but I don’t see us sweeping in Starkville. Pilkington is really good and after giving up a bunch of HRs early in the season Ethan Small is pitching as well as anyone in the conference.

In 3 SEC starts he’s given up only 3 ERs in 20.2 IP while striking out 24.

That being said , if we score 4+ runs every game we will have a great chance of taking all 3 cause the Dawgs just aren’t scoring runs.

Another 3-1 week and we’ll still be leading the SECw.

I remember reading somewhere that Bianco developed a list of goals for this year's team and that "Win 40 games." was first on the list.

If it is assumed that the 40 wins were hoped to be regular season and not including SEC tourney or NCAA playoff wins, then 40 is well within reach. If we go 4-2 in midweek games and 11-10 in remaining SEC games, we'll hit 40 exactly.

While I expect some surprise losses and some SEC series losses (or even being swept a time or two) I truly believe they'll scuffle through 15 more wins or more.

Sorry that I tend to use more words than necessary.

Beer is allowed in left field and right field. I'm not sure on number of chairs. We have a "spot" in left field and that includes like 20 tickets and a big box for storage we put all of the chairs in. Some areas in left field are first come first serve though.

I think we find a way to sweep State. All of their hitters besides Mangum are like t-ball players. They are really that awful. It would take an implosion by our pitchers like walking in a bunch of runs for them to score a lot.

Yeah I don't think we get swept period. Our pitching is too powerful

No, I don't really think that will happen. Just trying to temper my enthusiasm. I once feared it might happen at Vandy, but they've looked very beatable lately. But I do expect a disappointment or two somewhere along the line.

Just like the Tennessee series we'll find a way to lose at least one game

MSU is literally the worst offensive team in the SEC. We just won the series against the best offensive team. I'm not too concerned although Pilk and Small are legit MLB prospects.

Whoever they have as Thursday/Friday starter is 0 for SEC so far.

We’re definitely gonna lose at Autozone, as is tradition, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Caracci gets rest this week. Woolfork has lost his speed, and I simply don’t trust Stokes. Should be an interesting week

Woolfolk has gained noticeable weight... He needs to cut down on the carbs for a bit and get into pitching shape and get his velocity up

He gained like 25 pounds over the offseason to try to get more power, and it absolutely destroyed his velocity

Considering Memphis has lost 6 straight and is just generally not a very good team at 9-19 overall and 1-5 in their conference, yeah, you probably right. We will lose. We just better not pitch Caracci.

Bad Memphis teams never lose to top 5 ranked Ole Miss teams in Memphis. It’s some weird curse of Elvis or something

D1Baseball Top 10:

1 Florida
2 Stanford
3 Ole Miss
4 Oregon State
5 Arkansas
6 Florida State
7 Texas Tech
8 NC State
9 Kentucky
10 Indiana

I thought Arkansas would move down to 7th or 8th but they’ve played a ridiculous schedule and that holds a lot of water with the D1 staff. Kentucky staying in the top 10 is the only head scratcher.

Then staying at five is also a nod to us. Showing that they really believe we are that good and since it was such a close series not really punishing them.

Crazy how much fight our team has. They LOVE love the game and just do not want to lose.
