That’s one of the most clutch pitching performances I can remember. Huge game situation where a brand new replay call goes against you, and with bases loaded you strike out 2 in a row after anxiously waiting. Unreal, and to top it off you come back and strike out 2 more the next inning.
The fact that their starter ate us alive and our defense sucked for a few innings and we still found a way to win on the road is the sign of a tough team

Was looking at the roster and last year's signees. Anybody know the status of these guys?
- Golston Gillespie - RS? look any good?
- Matthew Myers - RS? look any good?
- Austin Miller - thought he was a JC pitcher that was supposed to get alot of playing time but I don't remember seeing him this year. Can help next year?
I'll be in College Station tonight. If anybody else will be there and wants to meet up let me know

Matt Myers is from Jackson and his middle name is Swayze. If nothing else, he seems like a good Rebal

Austin Miller has pitched once or twice. Has not looked great.

Miller has looked good so far in his limited work. 10 SO and 1 BB in about 5 innings pitched. Only given up 1 ER. Big frame that could be good in the pen for a couple years.

Ok so im gonna play devils advocate and point out some things I dont like about our team.
-Golsan is not good enough to be in the 5 hole. He should be about 7-9 in the lineup.
-I think Cockrell is Zack Kirksey 2.0. Tears the cover off in non-conference and then gets shut down in SEC play. I also think Dillard and Zabs are about to struggle, but not as much as Chase
-Rolison is off. Command isnt there and needs to dial it in so we arent having games like the past 3 Fridays.
-Our OF defense is sub-par. No speed and often makes some errors on routine plays.
-Cooper needs to be behind the plate. I know he has had some issues with passed balls, but Zabs offense is not good enough for us to have Fortes behind the plate.
Overall, I think we are a regional host, but need to get some things ironed out to be a national seed. We shall see.

Starting pitching is really struggling on the road. And we can’t touch their starters. Not a winning combination IMO IYAM
They are killing our defense as well. If we don’t get to their pin soon we won’t have a chance

Feigel has struggled but still battling. 90 pitches through 6 innings. Would have never thought he would have made it this far after the 2nd inning...

Cockrell and Golsan trying to make me eat crow. We have a lot of hits, but they are all with 2 outs it seems. Gotta be able to string something together

I sure wish Stokes was better. He just doesn't seem to have much against quality competition.
